Department of Paediatrics provides comprehensive health care to children from neonates to young children. The department has a well equipped Neonatal ICU, managed by qualified nurses, duty paediatricians and backed by highly qualified consultants, neonatologists and paediatric surgeons. The Department has a good Paediatric and Septic ICU and also has facilities for neonatal and paediatric ventilation. The new born nursery also is a tertiary care centre and receives new born infants for intensive care from all over the city. Warmer, phototherapy, ventilators, nebulizer, pulse oximeter, incubator, blood gas analyzer, computerized weighing scales, O2 monitor & syringe pumps etc., facilities are also available here. Besides the above the department has out – patient clinic for children.
