The Obstetrics & Gynaecology department offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services . Services span the needs of women from their teen years , through pregnancy to menopause and beyond . The Department has qualified specialists and latest equipment to deal with High Risk Pregnancy and Premature Babies and also offers extensive facilities for mother and child care. The department is performing all types of gynaecological surgeries including minimal invasive surgeries by laproscope. ‘Chirag Infertility Clinic’ has been established to facilitate childless couples . Department has a Hi- Tech Labour Room equipped with Foetal Doppler , CTG & Foetal Resuscitation. Semen Bank and Semen preparation by swim- up technique for IUI (Intre Uterine Insemination) is also available . Besides the above, genetic counseling , routine pap smear , ovarian cancer screening , painless labour by epidural analgesia foetal monitoring are the other facilities extended by this department.
